"Like the best early bluesmen, Guy Davis is, at heart, a storyteller. A master at setting intimate, richly nuanced tales to stomping acoustic blues backing, often with folky accompaniment from mandolin, banjo, and accordion …. House Records." Blues Revue |

Mountain Thyme’s songs feature multi-layered vocal harmonies and unaccompanied singing. Themes range from traditional ballads to contemporary folk— encompassing rousing accounts of romantic escapades, tales of trial and challenge, historical sagas, stories of personal experience and place, and amusing expressions of everyday life and events. Their Celtic-flavored tunes include jigs, reels, hornpipes, marches, waltzes, contemporary melodies written in traditional style, and original compositions.
Mountain Thyme will be joined by guest fiddler Cathy Grant. |

Poteen is a band of four players, employing, at last count, fourteen different musical instruments. Their sound is exciting and innovative carrying their audience through a full spectrum of emotion; whether playing a rousing, foot-stomping jig, a haunting mysterious reel or sing a song the makes the listener laugh or another that leaves many a moist eye, they keep a tight hold on their audiences’ attention.
Poteen will be joined by Irish step dancers Jennifer Cox and Andrea Brown |
