Wayne Erbsen has been involved with traditional American Music for over forty years as a performer, author, recording artist, teacher, publisher and public radio host. He is considered a master on banjo, fiddle, mandolin and guitar, and has taught workshops across America, Canada and in Europe. Wayne has recorded eighteen solo CDs and has authored twenty-six books. He has taught Appalachian music classes at Warren Wilson College in Asheville, North Carolina for twenty-five years. Annie Erbsen grew up immersed in traditional music and dance. She has been teaching dance for the past 7 years around the U.S. and extensively in Europe. As a musician, she has played contra dances for about 5 years in several states – North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky – and one in Sweden! Her style is influenced by both new and old traditions in Irish, French Canadian, old-time, and gypsy music.

The Schrodinger Cats from Lexington, KY, will be our Special Guest band for Saturday Night Contra Dance. They will also play at other dances as needed.
