Bring your instruments and join in during the open mic music during contra dances.

It will be fun and casual, where people just join in the music as they please. We will try to make sure there are some staff musicians at all times: someone who plays rhythm, another who plays lead.

For bands who’d like to perform as a group, please sign up. We’ll set a time slot.

Of course, there’s open jamming all weekend, all over (among the great places are the fire circle, any of the park’s comfortable shelters, right at your camp site, or in the dining hall).

There is even a musician’s cabin, where music can be expected any time.

Friday evening

Bring a contribution and share a meal with friends.

8 to 11:30 PM    Contra dance [Dance Hall]
Band TBA will provide the music. Steve Ballman will anchor the calling with open mic for callers.

There will be opportunities for musicians to jump in for open mic.
