About FOOTMAD
Kanawha Valley Friends Of Old Time Music And Dance (FOOTMAD) is a non-profit, volunteer organization whose mission is to promote traditional music and dance in Charleston, West Virginia and the Greater Kanawha Valley. New volunteers are always welcome, the sole prerequisite being a desire to support these most enjoyable art forms.

Concert Series
Our annual Concert Series consists of six concerts each year. The concert season runs from October through March.

Dance Series
Our annual Dance Series consists of two events per month. Dances are held on the first and third Friday of each month. The dance season runs from October through June.

Fall Festival
The Fall Fling is our annual festival of traditional music and dance. It is held during the latter part of the month of September. The exact dates depend on the availability of the venue.

Membership
FOOTMAD is a member-oriented organization. By becoming a member you can help support traditional music and dance in the region served FOOTMAD, which includes Charleston, West Virginia, the Greater Kanawha Valley, and beyond.

FOOTMAD is an all-volunteer organization. We do not have any paid staff. The work of the organization is carried out by the Board of Directors and by other volunteers.
