The WV Division of Culture and History has announced a new format for Vandalia Gathering 2013,
Vandalia events will be scaled back to allow focus on West Virginia's 150th anniversay celebration, June 20-22.
This year Vandalia will be a two-day festival, May 24 & 25. Some activities usually associated with Vandalia will be take place during these two days. Other Vandalia related activities will be featured Saturday, June 22 at the sesquicentennial celebration at the capitol complex.
In 2014, the Vandalia Gathering will return to its usual 3-day format.
