Charleston WVCorey Harris is one of blues' most faithful contemporary griots. Tracing the music back to its African roots, he has trekked all over the world to share these stories in song and in 2007 was awarded the MacArthur Fellowship Genius grant for unearthing and sharing that rich, connected history.
This concert is an event of FestivFALL Charleston, a celebration of MUSIC - ART - THEATRE - DANCE. A City Becomes A Work of Art.

Charleston WVRichie Stearns and Rosie Newton are a dynamic duo performing music rooted in the Americana tradition. They have collaborated in various projects experimenting with traditional and original songs. Richie Stearns and Rosie Newton take the fiddle & banjo combination to new levels as they continue to expand the boundaries of this tradition.

Charleston WVMissy Raines is a bass players’ bass player, a singer, songwriter, teacher, sideman, and bandleader. In addition to the Bass Player awards, she’s received multiple awards from the IBMA for Recorded Event of the Year and Song of the Year. In 2019, Missy was featured in The Country Music Hall of Fame as part of their American Currents exhibit.

This concert is the mainstage event of Charleston’s annual Celtic Calling Gathering.
